This is my (your) beautiful Jesus.

The Golden Arrow

May the most holy, most sacred, most adorable, most incomprehensible and unutterable Name of God be always praised, blessed, loved, adored and glorified in heaven, on earth and in the hells, by all the creatures of God and by the Sacred Heart of our Lord Jesus Christ in the most Holy Sacrament of the Altar. Amen.

Novena

O Lord Jesus Christ, in presenting ourselves before Your adorable Face,
to ask of You the graces of which we stand most in need, (here mention the grace or favor you desire)
we beseech You, above all, to give us
that interior disposition of never refusing at any time
to do what You require of us
by Your holy commandments
and Your divine inspirations.
O good Jesus, Who hast said:
“Ask and you shall receive,
Seek and you shall find,
Knock and it shall be opened to you,”
Give us, O Lord, that faith which obtains all,
or supply in us what may be deficient.
be merciful to us, O God,
and reject not our prayers when, amid our
afflictions, we call upon
Your Holy Name and seek with love and
confidence Your adorable Face.
Amen.

Maundy Thursday

"O My God, I am heartily sorry for having offended Thee; and I detest all my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend Thee, my God, who art all-good and deserving of all my love. I firmly resolve, with the help of Thy grace, to confess my sins, to do penance and to amend my life. Amen."

This is such a beautiful prayer!

And as we accompany Jesus in this Holy Night of Adoration and Prayer, Mother dearest please help us, help us, help me. Dankeschoen. Amen.

Jesus, Mary, Joseph, I love You; Save Souls!

Jesu mitis et humilis corde, Fac Cor nostrum secundum Cor tuum. (ter)

He is dead. The author of life, the only begotten of the Father, the Lord of the world, is dead. O infinite love! A God to sacrifice Himself entirely! And for whom? For us, ungrateful creatures. Raise your eyes and behold the crucified Man-God. Behold the Divine Lamb, sacrificed on that altar of pain. See how His arms are stretched out to embrace you; His head bowed down to give you the kiss of peace; His side opened to receive you. How can you behold Him dead, hanging on the tree, and not love Him with all your heart?

"My children, see if there is anyone in this world who has loved you more than I, thy God, has loved you. This is My beloved Son, in whom I have found all My delights. This in My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Behold how I have willed to see Him ill-treated on account of your iniquities. Behold how I have condemned Him to die upon this cross, afflicted, and abandoned even by Myself, who loves Him so much. This have I done in order that you may love Me."

Laetare Sunday (4th Sunday in Lent)

"Deus meus, et omnia!"

The Most Holy Face of Jesus.

from the Shroud of Turin

An excellent replica of the Shroud of Turin is here, it will be in the chapel until the 25th of March.

Father gave a very good talk about the Shroud which was very very informative.

Here is the link to The Sleepless Eye to see very good photos of it. Look out for the "negative" pictures, beautiful.

You can click on the link above to read more about the Shroud, and the different scientific research and evidence that will state that the image on the shroud sincerely, as it was called was: "Not made with human hands". There have been alot of research done and it can be proven that it came all the way from the first century, using scientific and historical (from musicology/art history etc) methods. (*see, my two favourite subjects have loads of important uses! yay! - haha)
