A beautiful poem.

The Church Triumphant!

I chanced upon this some time ago when I was reading a book. It's a poem by an English poet, Dryden, who has tried, in a beautiful way, to describe the most Holy Roman Catholic Church, the Church that Jesus himself founded, on HIS(JESUS) words,

"Tu es petrus, Et super hanc petram aedificabo Ecclesiam meam."

("Thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church, and the powers of hell shall not prevail against it.")

and here's the beautiful poem:

"A milk-white hind, immortal and unchanged,
Fed on the lawns and in the forest ranged;
Without unspotted, innocent within, -
She feared no danger for she knew no sin.
Yet oft was she pursued ... was often forced to fly
And doomed to death, but fated not to die."

and thus, I will end here for today.

PAX
In Christo et Maria!

The most Holy Sacrifice

Q: What is the greatest miracle on earth?
