What is the Catholic Church?
It is the universal kingdom of God on Earth.
-------HOW OLD IS YOUR CHURCH?

If you are a Lutheran, your religion was founded by Martin Luther, an ex-monk of the Catholic Church, in the year 1517.
If you belong to the Church of England, your religion was founded by King Henry VIII in the year 1534 because the Pope would not grant him a divorce with the right to remarry.
If you are a Presbyterian, your religion was founded by John Knox in Scotland in the year 1560.
If you are a Protestant Episcopalian, your religion was an off-shoot of the Church of England, founded by Samuel Seabury in the American colonies in the 17th century.
If you are a Congregationalist, your religion was originated by Robert Brown in Holland in 1582.
If you are a Methodist, your religion was launched by John and Charles Wesley in England in 1744.
If you are a Unitarian, Theophilus Lindley founded your church in London in 1774.
If you are a Mormon - a "Latter Day Saint" -, Joseph Smith started your religion in Palmyra, New York State in the U.S.A. in 1829.
If you are a Baptist, you owe the tenets of your religion to John Smyth, who launched it in Amsterdam in 1606.
If you are of the Dutch Reformed Church, then a meeting in Emden, Germany, in 1571 was your starting point. If you are a member of the Reformed Church in America, however, you recognise Jonas Michaelius as founder, because he started your denomination in New York in 1628.
If you are one of the Seventh Day Adventists, then James and Ellen G. White originated your religion in Battle Creek, Michigan in 1863.
If you worship with the Salvation Army, your sect began with William Booth in London in 1865.
If you are a Jehovah's Witness, then the year 1881 saw Charles Taze Russell found the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society of Pennsylvania.
If you are a Christian Scientist, you look to 1879 as the year in which your religion was born, and to Mrs Mary Baker Eddy as its foundress.
If you belong to a Pentecostal or Charismatic group, then you can trace your spiritual genealogy back to a prayer meeting at Charles Fox Parham's Bethel Bible College in Topeka, Kansas in 1901.
If you belong to such religious organisations as the "Church of the Nazarene", "Pentecostal Gospel", the "Pilgrim Holiness Church". the "Iglesia ni Christo" or the "Assemblies of God", your religion is one of the thousands of new sects founded by men within the 20th century.
If you are a Roman Catholic, you know that your religion was founded in the year 33 by Jesus Christ the Son of God, and that it has not changed since that time.
Even in these strange days, the above enumerated facts are still undeniable.

If you are city harvester, yr religion was founded by Kong Hee and is 17 years old.
If you are a new creationist yr religion was founded by a group of youngsters in 1984.
And if you are a faith baptister your church was founded in 1986 when Lawrence Khong was kicked out from his church . He is now a performing magician-"WOW"
alright! thanks! =)hmmmm .. these few are one of those many new 20th century "churches" formed. (as stated in the post!=)
