and a little note/remark: I must say we don't look like the regular bunch of soldiers,

but this is a kind of warfare, that is intrinsically different from the regular kind,

this warfare, Christian Warfare, engages the soul in the combat for Eternal Salvation,

one which, since time immemorial, has been the only thing worth fighting for.

"The spiritual life is a spiritual combat against sin, the devil and the world. We need God's grace in this struggle which will result in heaven or hell for everyone."

"The life of man upon earth is a warfare" - Job 7:1

St. Ignatius of Loyola in his Spiritual Exercises reveals this battle for the Christian Soul, in which our weapons are the Doctrine of Jesus Christ, all forms of prayer, examination of conscience, mortification and works of charity.
