Christus Resurrexit! ;))

Christus Resurrexit! :))

(from an Easter Sermon by St. John Chrysostom)

Hell was in an uproar because it was done away with.
It was in an uproar because it is mocked.
It was in an uproar, for it was destroyed.
It is in an uproar, for it is annihilated.
It is in an uproar, for it is now made captive.
Hell took a body, and discovered God.
It took earth, and discovered God.
It took earth, and encountered Heaven.
It took what it saw, and was overcome by what it did not see.
O death, where is thy sting?
O Hades, where is thy victory?

Christ is risen, and you, O death, are annihilated!
Christ is risen, and the evil ones are cast down!
Christ is risen, and the angels rejoice!
Christ is risen, and life is liberated!
Christ is risen, and the tomb is emptied of its dead; for Christ having risen from the dead, is become the first-fruits of those who have fallen asleep.

AND, our dearest, my dearest Mother Mary must be so totally REJOICING! :)) And I am happy because she is happy... Imagine how it was like for her, when she beheld Jesus, all Glorious, with no other wounds except His 5 most Precious Wounds :))) (she was the first to see JESUS)

QUEEN of Heaven, Rejoice! Alleluia.

For He whom thou didst merit to bear, Alleluia.

Hath arisen as He said, Alleluia.

Pray for us to God, Alleluia.

V. Rejoice and be glad, O Virgin Mary, Alleluia.
R. Because the Lord is truly risen, Alleluia.

Let us pray

O God, Who gave joy to the world through the Resurrection of Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ; grant, we beseech Thee, that through His Mother, the Virgin Mary, we may obtain the joys of Everlasting Life. Through the same Christ our Lord. Amen.

Jesus, Mary, Joseph, Anne, Therese, I love You; Save Souls!

Jesu mitis et humilis corde, Fac cor nostrum secundum Cor tuum. (ter)

Regina Caeli, Laetare, Alleluia! :))
